One-pan Sweet and Spicy Roasted Nuts

These sweet and spiced nuts are made in one pan in under 20 minutes. They are surprisingly healthy considering how addicting they are and make a great party snack or DIY gift.


VEGAN / GLUTEN-FREE / SERVES: 8


Ingredients

1 cup raw almonds

1 cup raw cashews

1 cup raw pecans

1 cup raw walnuts

1 tablespoon chile powder

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons cayenne (substitute with chile powder if you prefer mild spice)

3 tablespoons coconut oil, melted

4 tablespoons maple syrup

Method

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 14 minutes

Preheat the oven to 350 ℉.

Don’t even bother with a mixing bowl! Put the ingredients directly on a sheet pan and mix. Sprinkle the salt, chile powder, cinnamon, and cayenne over your nuts. Drizzle with melted coconut oil and maple syrup. Stir well to evenly coat the nuts.

Bake for 12-14 minutes.

You can use any nuts you like—I’m partial to pecans and cashews. For best results, start with raw nuts.

 
 

Don’t even bother with a mixing bowl. Combine all of your ingredients right on the sheet pan.

When the nuts are done, do a little taste test and sprinkle in a tad more sugar or spice to get it just right.

Serve in cute bowls or gift them in a jar.
